ZEROL® RFL-X / RFL-EP
Overview
The ZEROL® RFL range uses a specialty double end-capped (di-capped) PAG structure for optimum miscibility with R134a in mobile systems and with CO2 (R744) in mobile and stationary systems.
RFL-X focuses on compressor efficiency and OEM compliance in R134a mobile A/C; Shrieve describes it as an OEM-approved choice meeting corrosion protection, low moisture and TAN requirements, with lower water absorption than alternative PAGs. RFL-EP adds an extreme-pressure additive package optimized for high-pressure CO2, plus antioxidant and yellow/white metal corrosion protection, for existing stationary CO2 compressors and future mobile R744 compressors. RFL-EP HP is the heat pump version.

Applications
RFL-X: initial fill and service of R134a belt-driven vehicle A/C. RFL-EP: supermarket and commercial CO2 refrigeration, next-generation CO2 mobile A/C. RFL-EP HP: CO2 and HFO heat pumps for domestic and commercial heating and hot water.
