ZEROL® ESTER (POE)
Overview
ZEROL® ESTER is Shrieve’s range of synthetic polyol ester (POE) lubricants for air conditioning and refrigeration compressors, mobile and stationary, designed for HFC refrigerants such as R134a and R410A.
Branched POE technology provides chemical and thermal stability. The oils are made to low moisture and low total acid number (TAN) specifications, are miscible with HFCs over wide temperature ranges, give good wear protection and have excellent electrical insulation for hermetic systems. ISO VG 22 to 220 covers all compressor types.

Applications
Domestic and industrial refrigeration and HFC air conditioning, plus R134a belt-driven and hybrid/electric vehicle A/C. The industry-standard replacement for mineral oil when converting from R12 to R134a.
