ZEROL® PAG R717
Overview
ZEROL® PAG R717 is a range of water-soluble synthetic polyalkylene glycol (PAG) lubricants for ammonia (R717) systems where the lubricant is miscible with the refrigerant. It is part of Shrieve’s natural refrigerant line, alongside ZEROL 350, a synthetic alkylbenzene for non-miscible R717 systems.
Its copolymer structure gives good lubricity over a wide temperature range, with good miscibility, fluidity and stability. Five viscosity grades are available. Shrieve states it is H1 compliant for incidental food contact (21 CFR 178.3570).
